So, can you do CrossFit if you’ve never done it before? 

Well, the answer is yes! The great thing about TriFore CrossFit is that we will help you do workouts that are designed exactly for you! While you might be working out in the same class as other people who have been doing CrossFit for years, you won’t be doing the same movements or weights as them, you will be doing what is right for you. 

When you’re new to CrossFit, it’s important that you talk with the coach and get an intro session before jumping right into class first. One of the worst mistakes that many people make is trying to run before they can walk. At TriForce, our main objective is to help you meet your goals, and keep them met. So we start everyone with personal training sessions to teach you the movements you’ll need to know, as well as assess your current fitness level. Along with that, you will have a movement evaluation with our Doctor of Physical Therapy, as well as Nutrition Onboarding so that you are set up for success for the long-haul.

One thing to know is that there is no such thing as ‘CrossFitting’ for just two days straight and then giving up because it’s too hard… it takes time. We take recovery seriously too, so we will be helping you learn how much rest you need between workouts, as well as some methods you can use to recover better on your off days.

Everyone starts somewhere, so embrace your beginner status with open arms and be proud of yourself for taking charge of your health. The best thing you can do is just start. We will help you with the rest along the way!
