Casein is great for recovery, but it can be hard to look forward to a shake before bed. This though is a welcome treat and is almost as easy as a shake! Coach Alyssa shared her killer combo of topping it with nut butter and whipped cream – “11/10 recommend those extra calories!” and we agree!
Ingredients
- 1 rounded scoop Driven Casein
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg white
- 1 tbsp mini dark chocolate chips
- Optional toppings: drippy peanut or almond butter, whipped topping
Instructions
- Mix in a bowl
- Pour into a mug sprayed with oil or non stick spray
- Cover with plastic wrap
- Microwave for ~1:15 or until just set
- Dump onto a plate
- Top with nut butter and whipped cream …. optional but recommended
