Casein is great for recovery, but it can be hard to look forward to a shake before bed. This though is a welcome treat and is almost as easy as a shake! Coach Alyssa shared her killer combo of topping it with nut butter and whipped cream – “11/10 recommend those extra calories!” and we agree!


  • 1 rounded scoop Driven Casein
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp mini dark chocolate chips
  • Optional toppings: drippy peanut or almond butter, whipped topping


  • Mix in a bowl
  • Pour into a mug sprayed with oil or non stick spray
  • Cover with plastic wrap
  • Microwave for ~1:15 or until just set
  • Dump onto a plate
  • Top with nut butter and whipped cream …. optional but recommended
